The cherry trees bend over and are shedding’
On the old roads where all that passed are dead,
Their petals, strewing the grass as for a wedding
This early May morn when there is none to wed.
~Edward Thomas
There is no doubt that I am infatuated with a cherry blossom. These flowers are beautiful when they bloom in the spring, bringing smiles to everyone faces, adding little bit of colors to dry brown dull trees. But again how long do they last!
Whenever I see fallen flowers on the ground, they remind me of a life. They remind me how quick life fades out. Those little pink flowers rise from brown dull trees, showing hopes of spring, then bloom and gloom- two days worth of long life cycle.Very next day, they are on the earth, making it pretty for a while, and then again they are gone.
